AnswerModules® are proprietary algorithms that convert raw power quality event data into precise answers to determine the source and cause of the disturbance. These unique tools enable users to save time and improve accuracy when troubleshooting power quality problems. The Dranetz HDPQ Xplorer and Dranetz HDPQ Guide include the following Answer Modules: Sag Directivity, Power Factor Correction Capacitors and Motor Quality Annunciator Panel. Detailed analysis of Power Quality and/or Energy data from nearly any recent products from Dranetz. These are not just screen captures, this is an advanced analysis of sample points recorded and saved by your Dranetz instrument, and presented in various forms including Time Plots, Event Lists, and Event detail. Due to the advanced design of the Dranetz event database Time Plots and Event Detail graphs can be zoomed in to get to the detailed information.

  • A simple mouse click allows you to quickly scroll through data, zoom in on disturbances, trend data, filter events, evaluate statistics, and perform advanced harmonic and interharmonic analyses.

Encore Software

Encore Software

Encore Software is a web based, advanced, intelligent software that is both a system controller and a user interface for your entire system. Encore Software can be used in any application, from small systems with a few instruments to very large multi-point, facility-wide or utility monitoring systems with 50 or more points. Encore Software automatically communicates with each instrument in your system via all supported communications methods to download and store data. Encore Software is also a password-protected web server that acts as the gateway to your Encore System. All user interactions with the system “such as trending, reports, real time and setups” are done using any web browser with connectivity to the system. The multi-user interface allows co-workers, engineers or consultants simultaneous access to analyze and share data and reports within a familiar web environment.

 

Web Enabled Interface

Encore Software has an easy to use, password protected web browser interface. All interactions with the system use the common web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla and others. Not only is it easy to use, the web browser environment allows for multi-user access to your monitoring system for any authorized user with access to the communications network. Trends, data lists, real time views and reports are just a few mouse clicks away. Information can be easily shared and exported to Word, Excel, PQView and other software packages.

NodeLink

NodeLink software is a Windows-based system that allows downloading, archiving and visualization of event-type data from a variety of instruments. NodeLink is the communication software for porting instrument data from the instrument to the PC for further analysis. NodeLink is available for PX5, PG4400 and PowerVisa and comes standard with the COMM accessories. NodeLink is also available for use with Encore System. It will communicate with the Encore system and download the data file to the PC for further analysis.

PQView® 3

Electrotek PQView® is a software that expands the capabilities of Dranetz Encore Series and/or manage multiple monitoring systems. Developed by Electrotek Concepts, PQView is a database software application designed to store and analyze large quantities of power quality-related disturbance and steady-state measurement data from hundreds of monitoring points. Featuring data management tools that can quickly characterize this data, PQView includes statistical analysis and plotting tools that can provide single or multiple-site analysis of power systems. Encore Series, Signature System, PQNode family, Dranetz portable instruments, IEEE PQDIF, IEEE COMTRADE and many non Dranetz meters are PQView compatible.

Description

PQView® is a multi-component software system developed by Electrotek Concepts® and EPRI® for building and analyzing databases of power, power quality, and energy measurements, and available for use with Dranetz Encore instrument configurations. PQView integrates data from microprocessor relays, digital fault recorders, power quality monitors, smart meters, and SCADA historians into an open relational database. PQView Fault Analysis Modules automatically combine electric power systems recordings with data from SCADA, GIS, and network topology to provide estimated fault location and to send an alarm to the operations personnel, reducing time to locate faults by hours.

PQView Report Writing Modules prepares industry standard reports or custom reports. These reports can automatically document compliance with local regulations and standards.
PQView Answer Modules® automatically assess the health and direction of capacitor switching, record reactive power changes, and the direction of voltage sags.
PQView combines powerful features in a user-friendly interface. Measurements can be stored in either Microsoft® Access or Microsoft SQL Server. A complete PQView system consists of three main applications: the Power Quality Data Manager (PQDM), the Power Quality Data Analyzer (PQDA), and PQWeb®.
